Know God as Jehovah-rohi, The Lord who heals.
2CH 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will HEAL their land.
PS 6:2 Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I am weak: O LORD, HEAL me; for my bones are vexed.
PS 30:2 O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast HEALed me.
PS 103
2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
PS 107:20 He sent his word, and HEALed them, and delivered them from their destructions.
PS 147:3 He HEALeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.
ISA 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are HEALed.
ISA 58
6 Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?
7 Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?
8 Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy rereward.
JER 17:14 HEAL me, O LORD, and I shall be HEALed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise.
Know this that God never changes. If He healed people before, Know that He will heal you today. God established Himself as the one who heals. So often I hear someone say that they are not sure that God wants to Heal. You need to know that it is God’s very nature to Heal. All that is Good comes from God.
In some cases, sickness comes from Sin in someones life or Sin in their parents life. So first of all Search your heart and ask God to search your heart and see if their be any wicked way in you. Examine your prior genorations and see if there is an iniquity that is passed down from one generation to the next (example: grandfather was an adulterer, father was an adulterer, and you either are or are struggling with those thoughts). If you find either current sin or generational iniquity, then simply repent from that and get your heart right with God. Don’t let sin keep you from your healing or your salvation. Repent.
However, some are sick and it is not caused from any sin. If this is the case, then know that it is just a trial of your faith and you will make it through. Remember, God wants to heal you. Be patient, trust God, and in His Timing, have faith and know that your healing is on the way.

The Lord is my Shepherd
When you begin to pray, you must come to know God as your Shepherd. For in that name you will find such a comfort that can never be taken away from you.
Psalms 23
1 A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
As the Shepherd of your life the very first thing you see is “I will not want” for anything. For “My God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” (Phil. 4:19) The confidence that comes with knowing that what ever you face, the source for all of your needs is God. “And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.” (John 14:13)
“He maketh me to lie down in green pastures” Implies that God knows that you have need of rest from time to time. Even if you do not stop to rest on your own, God will make you stop and rest. Because in these times of rest God can do a great work in your heart. We often get so busy that we do not spend enough time with God. After all that is what salvation is all about. To have a relationship with the God that created you. So let God spend time with you. Take time to rest in His blessings.
There are often many things in our lives that have been damaged or taken away from us either through fault of our own or someone else. Relationships, opportunities, peace of mind, are often areas of attack by Satan. Our Shepherd will restore not only family, friends, money, opportunities, peace of mind, but most importantly he will restore our soul into a relationship with Him.
Sin shall not have dominion over me. On our own we often fail to live righteously in every area in our lives, But with the help of God our Shepherd, when we keep our eyes on Him, He will lead us and keep us righteous. And of course, It’s through Jesus and His shed blood that we are made Righteous in the sight of god. Thank you Jesus for restoring me to you and making me righteous.
In good times and in bad I will trust in God for he never changes.
I will fear no evil, because I trust the Shepherd and know that He thinks Good thoughts toward me. He will fill my cup till it runs over and Goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of our lives.
Know God as your Shepherd!
Dwelling in the house of the Lord forever.
12 Blessings from Dwelling in the Secret Place

Apology
I would like to apologize for not being able to keep these lessons flowing regularly. Some of them are taking me much more time than I was expecting. It will take me some time but I will get some new posts as soon as possible.

Are you sure you are saved?
This is a message that most every one needs to here and heed. I was quite glad to hear that it was from a southern baptist preacher because I believe the baptist as a whole ( not every one) need to hear this message. Not only baptist but most every one that calls themselves a Christian should listen to this and ask yourself the question: Why do I call myself a Christian? and: Am I really what I say that I am?

What are you doing with what you have?
The church is usually looked upon as a place where the people are clean and healthy, though it should be viewed just as a hospital, full of sick and dying people who need our compassion and help to nurse them back to health. I came across this and wow...makes you open your eyes.
"Judgement looms under every steeple with lofty glances from lofty people."
